I toured one of their locations last week and it was a complete waste of my time. First, they made us meet at their office for the sole purpose of being handed a packet which they could've done at the site. Then, we had to drove over and were subjected to the most disgusting, vile living situation I've ever seen in my life. I've never been in an apartment where at the end of the lease I had to pay for normal wear & tear. I was charged for painting, carpet cleaning, drip pans(no clue what for), venthood filter & labor. Got $149 back out of $750. 😡
We have been living here at Beau Trace for almost 3 years now and are signing a lease again for next year. Everyone on the newest round of staff members has been super friendly and helpful in accommodating our needs. Sure we have encountered some of the usual and unpleasant circumstances that go along with living downtown, but that isn’t at the fault of Campus Walk - just location which you will have anywhere that has downtown living. Poor management, thin walls, constant smell of weed, constant blaring music, poor parking, extremely loud dryer in laundry room...I could go on. I literally got my car towed, which was $140, because I couldn't park in the parking lot (management refuses to paint lines) and was not compensated for it. My roommate has also gotten a parking ticket from parking partially on the lot and sidewalk because of the poor parking. Management got very rude when I asked them to paint lines, but it isn't my fault that they leased too many ... read more
