Lived here 2 years ago. Horrible experience. All appliances are cheap. Maintenance doesn’t fix anything unless you ask the tons of times over months. The RAs are somehow NEVER available ?? And worst of all THE PROPERTY MANAGER is fake, shady, and does not have tenets best interest at all. Just the worst. Live somewhere else. Campus town across the street is a much better option.
Campus view don’t care about anyone all they care about is getting your money and taking advantage of college students. They don’t fix anything. They don’t take you seriously with anything. They let student Break rules all the time with having alcohol and even weed. And you never get your deposit back well 99% of people don’t get their deposit back. This place is a living joke. Business unfair to tenant
I'd recommend looking for a different place to live. I lived here for a year and in that time the company went threw four or five property managers. They also procrastinate with your money it can take the full month to cash your check for rent and then you get late charges because of there laziness. If you put in a repair order good luck getting it fixed. I personally went two months with no a/c because they wouldn't fix it. I lived at campus view for a year. The heat in the apartment are little electric wall heaters which make way too much noise. The bathroom showers are not well lit and floor floods often. Management is not any better the maintenance person never fixed my heater in the winter when I asked multiple times and filled out multiple forms but it never got fixed. Awesome place located right on the DMACC Campus! Quick walk to all the buildings and everything is included in your rent!
Campus View Student Housing provides me with a wonderful environment as a college student. Living on the DMACC (Ankeny) campus allows me to walk to my classes fast and easily. The options for living space make it affordable and comfortable. I've enjoyed the variety of activities at Campus View, particularly the frequent and fun residential events (Canvas Painting, Movie Night, Grill Out etc.). The staff of Campus View works on an up close and personal level with me as well! I love living here :)
