The worst apartment experience of my life. First off, wayyy overcharged for an old apartment. Second, my bathroom ceiling flooded twice due to poor piping. The ac broke, the heater didn’t work all year, I had to wait 5 days to call them and say our power is out because their offices are only open on certain days. I am now living in an apartment called River Glen that is $100’s less, rooms are newly remodeled, and twice the size. This new place feels like heaven. I wish I was joking.

WARNING! Unfortunately, any international student cannot use a J-1 visa to apply to live at any DTN community. Sharing our personal experience as it cost our family a lot of money. I have asked why and my request has not been answered by DTN. If anyone knows, please share. This includes students who are completely accepted and enrolled in Michigan State University. So the University will except it but DTN management and there thousands of rentals do not. Be careful and look else where.

I have lived at the gates for 2 years and they are great! Not only are the amenities great but the leasing managers are fantastic. Highly recommend!

Great place to live! All the staff are super helpful and has made living here very enjoyable.
