My daughter was really ill. We had to pick her up from campus after seeing Dr. Hodges to recover at home. Two days later I called back and Dr. Stephanie Hodges was incredibly helpful. She provided expert advice, comprehensive and compassionate care over the phone. Dr. Hodges took time to speak with me about the best way to help my daughter get better. I wish I had checked the reviews before going. I thought the university health center would be patient and responsible, but it turned out to be ridiculous. I had an appointment with a gynecologist, yet the nurse took over, ordered unnecessary tests, and caused extra pain instead of simply combining them with the urine test. She even rushed me. I've had overall really positive experiences here dealing with a handful of minor issues. Every provider I've seen - sometimes a doctor, sometimes a PA or NP - has been very kind, gentle, and listened to my concerns without making me feel rushed or otherwise bad. Scheduling is pretty easy (I usually do it by phone, as I've found this yields a quicker response, though online responses are relatively fast also) and I've been seen same-day on more than one occasion. The Campus Health doctor seemed impatient, and the nurse was rushing the patient through the visit. The elevator is very slow and sometimes does not work.
