My fiancé and I are new to RV life. We purchased a new travel trailer in FL at another location, and then stopped at the Camping World in St. Augustine for some accessories and advice. Erica Marsh went above and beyond to guide us on what we needed for our new camper. She was extremely knowledgeable and educated us on what accessories we needed to make RV Life not only safer, but much more enjoyable. We both loved working with her because she was helpful but not pushy. She has a great attitude and you can tell she's passiona... read more

We purchased a new camper with the understanding of how things would go. We showed up announced at 4pm and we were to do the walk through and sign papers, which took 30 minutes and then we waited the next 2 hours to sign the paperwork that should have been ready (might have taken longer if it wasn't closing time). The walk through created a list of things that needed to be fixed, they were not upon delivery and still are not. We have no heat for starters! The camper was a hold over from last year and was not even cleaned!!! ... read more

I want to start by saying I am disappointed in myself for trusting a dealership to operate transparently. We worked with the sales team to negotiate a deal that included trading in two campers. A trade-in value was provided without the dealership physically seeing the campers, which I understand is common and subject to adjustment after inspection. However, at no point during negotiations were we told that the inspection would be used to systematically reduce the agreed value through itemized deductions. We made a two-hour t... read more

We were completing our camping stay in Summerdale Al on 6 Mar 2026. We stopped at this Camping World (CW) to fill our propane tank. We have a 2003 Class C Fleetwood Jamboree and were towing a CRV. We were hooking up the tow and had major problems with the connection. We went inside to the service department and Caroline met up to assist us. At first we thought it was the 7 to 5 connector but after further discussion were unsure. She offered to come outside and test the power coming from the rig. Long story short it was decid... read more

My experience with camping world in Hendersonville NC was great when we purchased our camper. When it came to afterwards that is where the nightmare started. We moved from NY to Tennessee on Jan 15th. My camper got delivered 2 weeks before which we had to pay a company 450.00 to tow it. When we arrive, we had no water and had to use jug water to go to the bathroom and brush our teeth and had to shower at the campground. I called Camping World and they said they couldn't help me they don't cross state lines. I called the camp... read more

Don't go to camping world, they lie and do not stand behind what they say. If camping world disputes this, I have proof. This must be a democratic owned and run business, but like democrats they deny everything even if it in writing. I would call all Republicans to boycott camping world in St. Augustine. This will save you a lot of problems.

This company is terrible. Give the complete run around and refuse to compensate for an entire day and 4 hours of driving to get it worked on. They ordered parts and had me prepay for them with a scheduled service appointment. Showed up only to find they failed to procure the parts. Had to return two weeks later for the work to be charged for way more time than they told me it would take. They are difficult to deal with and say they are looking into things to help, only to be told too bad, so sad...

My wife and I took our camper to Camping World in Hanover to have some yearly maintenance done. The cost was around $1,100.00 for the work. Camping World Hanover had our unit for over two weeks. In the past the Hanover location has been very good but the location has now joined the low service standard that the other location in harrisonburg has. When I arrived to pick the camper up I found that a lot of the work they charged me for was not done. I took the manager out to review the incomplete work and he offered to take the... read more

I called to talk about selling my camper and Jordan Brunson the Consignment Manager answered the phone. I brought my camper in and they got it sold in a month and I had it listed on marketplace for 6 months. Jordan was super easy to work with and would recommend him to anyone looking to sell their camper.
