I had a different orthodontist for my braces check-up a few days ago, and the experience was frustrating. He positioned my seat so low that my head was uncomfortably close to his lap, and I could even feel his stomach rumbling. Throughout the appointment, he repeatedly poked my lips and directed the light straight into my eyes, making it impossible to keep them open.
Today I witnessed a fantastic bond between my dentist and his new assistant. His professionalism and care shown along with clear communication to the new dental assistant was beautiful. Made my experience at the dentist joyful to watch and listen as I got my work done. I'm definitely not a liker of dental work due childhood work but my dental practitioner has given myself confidence to show up get my work done , take care of my teeth and return for regular check ups.
