Staff and doctors are always very kind and helpful. As always today's visit was pleasant and the wait was short.
The staff was great with my dog who is skittish around other people and who is protective of me. Dr Otto communicated and answered all questions thoroughly and it was highly appreciated. I didn't feel like they were trying to add on stuff just make money off of my visit like I've felt with other vets previously. Niko will be back!
Dr. Otto and staff are the BEST you will find. The attentiveness, quality of care, and real concern for animals and their humans is excellent.

Absolutely incredible experience. Our dog is very little and has a lot of anxiety. He’s very vocal and can scream and cry when restrained by strangers. Because of this, we could not find any vet or store that could trim his nails. We walked in, and immediately was taken aback by how much this place did NOT resemble your average vet. The lobby smelled incredible, it was free of hair and the smell/odor of other dogs. This immediately put my dog at ease. I absolutely love this vet! My husband and I adopted our first puppy in September. I've been a very anxious "puppy mom," always worried that our dog is sick or hurt! I love that the staff at University Animal Hospital are completely fine with me calling with even the silliest questions. (I think my best one was, "My puppy just sneezed. What do I do?") 😂Dr. Otto and Dr. Campbell are both phenomenal veterinarians and I've easily been able to see how compassionate and caring they are with each visit that we've had. After adopting a dog from animal welfare, I took him in for a wellness visit based on a list of vets who do work with the shelters. Everyone was so friendly. Sadie at the front desk was so nice to everyone, on the phone and in person. Lesley was great with my dog even though he was scared. You could tell she cared. And Dr Otto was great as to advising me the best treatment and his knowledge of shelters and the kinds of illnesses that go along with it. Overall a very great experience.
