Must stop if you are in the area. We forgot to make a reservation for a coal mine tour and showed up when a tour wasn’t planned. They went out of their way to arrange an impromptu tour and track us down at the Campbell County Rockpile Museum (go here too!). The coal tour was amazing - a bus ride into an active mine alongside giant trucks and into the pit all alongside beautifully reclaimed land. Fascinating and fun experience for our family.
Thanks for the welcome, big thanks to Angela and the entire team. We visited the mine and it was amazing ! Very interesting ! We definitely recommend it
