When I was a young girl Old Dutch had two locations - the current one and one at Old Shell and McGregor. My Aunt had a beauty shop (Charmaine’s) and then a school (Mobile Academy of Hair Design) next door. My favorite thing to do was get a cinnamon roll for Breakfast from Pollman’s and then a lunch double scoop chocolate ice cream sugar cone. So many memories happen at Old Dutch! Every time our family comes to visit Mobile, Cammie’s Old Dutch is a must! The ice cream is delicious and reasonably priced and the service is always great. This is truly one of Mobile’s gems.
