Best authentic Mexican food EVER! We drive 55 miles to eat here. Love it...hubby spent 2 years in Mexico and said it's the best he has eaten since he's been back. Friendly. .. right off the square in Sherman.
Prices were ok but the food wasn't all that great and didn't taste too fresh. I had a chicken burrito. It was a good size but it was wet due to the beans not being drained. My lady ordered the fajitas and they were decent but they only gave you 3 tortillas and charge $2 extra for 3 corn tortillas.
The best authentic Mexican food! Loved the Chicken Monterey Jack Enchilada and the homemade salsa! We will be back!

The food is OK, but not great, except the rice and charro beans. They are really good. The young lady that waited on us was very nice, but overall, the service is slow. Also, even though the menu says they have chicken tamales, they no longer serve them. If I am in the area I will stop in again but I won't make a special trip.
The food was amazing! From the salsa to the chicken enchiladas. We also had a very sweet waitress that made the experience great as well!
I've eaten at Camino Viejo twice. The food is absolutely delicious! Both times was worth the drive from McKinney. I will definitely eat there in the future!!
