RecommendedWe rescued at dog 6 1/2 yrs ago who was 8 then. He died this morning of kidney failure. The dr. was so very kind and gentle with the remains and his kind words put me at ease. I will definitely doctor with him in the future.
I am really disappointed that after years of taking my dogs to the clinic Dr. Kiesel is doubting the fact that my almost 17 year old dog who has gone lame needs to be euthanized. After calling this morning I was told they would call back, I received an email questioning his illness. I then called back and got a voice mail telling me that to call an emergency clinic if it was an emergency. I will not be taking my other dog to Dr. Kiesel anymore. Dr. Keisel and the staff were caring and compassionate. They did a great job informing us of what we were facing, and spoke honestly about the challenges in diagnosing a liver issue. Dr. Keisel was generous with his time and information and knowledge and Mary was kind and caring to our dog in her last days. I can't thank them enough. They have a tough job. I appreciated their compassion.
The only veterinarian that I know that is more interested in serving the needs of your pet verses getting rich off overpriced services. Dr K loves the animals beyond measure. I love Camino Seco Vet Clininc!!!!
Dr. Kiesel, Mary and the rest of the staff are excellent. They've been taking care of my two dogs for 6-7 years now and I'll never go anywhere else. I had to put my dog, Shadow, down on 4/4/17 and Camino Seco Pet Clinic did an excellent job. It was very peaceful and even though I'm grieving, I'm a little more at peace knowing that Shadow was in good hands on his last day and he departed this earth in peace.
If you care for your PET then don't go to this VET. After a few years of service with no complicated illnesses, we finally had a sick dog. How i wish we would not have ignored all of the signs pointing to an inadequate doctor. Doctors with ethics speak to thier customers, aren't afraid of thier actions, know what prescriptions they prescribed historically. Don't prescribe wild amounts of steriods and put the dogs health first. Oh, one more thing- they should have accurate records.... Not here.
