I lived here for a year with one other roommate. This was the best complex I lived in while in college. Management, Marla specifically, was very kind and helpful all the time. Move in/out was easygoing. The air conditioning was the only trouble we had and it was repaired immediately. The building complex is older, so the ceilings do have some water damage repairs. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves one. Marla and the maintenance team care and take care of stuff fast. It’s student living but the place stays pretty quiet, never hear my neighbors. Location is super convenient. I have 5 unlocked bikes in the bike room and never had a package stolen, so it’s pretty safe. Nice courtyard that regularly has people hanging out. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable spot to live with a lot to offer.
I've been living here for a year now and couldn't be happier with the experience. The location is incredibly convenient to the university. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk, and very close to grocery stores, and everything else I need on a daily basis. What really sets this place apart, though, is the management. This building truly feels like home. I've been a resident for two years now, and I continue to appreciate the sense of security here. The location is incredibly convenient, everything I need and more is either a short walk or a 10-15 minute bike ride away. Plus, amenities like the fire pits and grills are fantastic. Overall it was a nice flat for the price. The flat is not far from the university and there are some restaurants nearby. The rooms are old in some areas (maybe some have water leakage problems), but overall it is acceptable. The attitude and speed of handling by the service team is great! But it's not perfect. For example, the delivery sometimes had trouble getting into the building, and the surrounding buildings (710 W 28th St and San Pedro St) were sometimes noisy.
