Great doctor if you have unlimited time. If you expect appointment times to mean something, go somewhere else.
If I could I would give him zero stars. I went in for scoliosis. He diagnosed it when I was 11 at KOC. He also did not brace me to prevent progression. Well I’m 20 now and I’ve had a lot of back pain. I get an Xray from my PC and the scoliosis progressed. Shocker… I get referred back to KOC which is a two hour drive for me. I show up for my appointment on time and end up waiting in a room for over 30 minutes. No one took me for X-rays (my PC did not send them the new one. I checked). Dr. Sears was kind, attentive, and above all, he explained step by step what he was going to do to my daughter. He did a good job.
If I could give 0 stars to him and Dr. Crawford I would. Do NOT take your children to KOC for any reason. My son was referred back in June when he woke up with a fever and couldn’t walk. Children’s urgent care did X-rays and said he had a fractured ankle and strep but the next day when I took him to KOC the next day Dr. Sears stated that the radiologist didn’t know what he was talking about and that he did not have a fracture. I took my daughter to Dr. Sears recently and he did not listen to our concerns and semeed rushed. No physical therapy was recommended nor was any other solution recommended to us. I am now taking her to physical therapy which I was told by another doctor that PT is exactly what she needs.
