I had a similarly unsatisfactory experience with these folks when I tried to replace/repair a camera lens that came with a body I purchased from them. They were non-committal about whether there was a problem with the lens or not (it sticks when zoomed in or out--that seems like a problem to me), and seemed to be looking for a reason to tell me the thing was fine. I have purchased several items from Camera Gallery in the past and have had good experiences...until I needed to return something THAT I NEVER EVEN USED. When I called the owner he said that he would only accept an exchange because he "wasted a lot of time with me." That will be the last time I shop with them until they learn the true meaning of customer satisfaction.
