It was a nice place to live until the mold came and the new slumowners and new slumlord decided that a broken down apartment built in the 70's that hasn't been updated since then is worth $1000 plus dollars. If you do live here make sure you keep all your recipes for your rent because they will claim that you have missed a month. Scummy people. Miss you old Mary
Lived here for 4 years the manager is very nice the maintenance is excellent I call about a problem the next day it's fixed I lived at several apartment complexes and have never had service like that Very friendlyBut unfortunately I might have to move tennants have told me the rents are going up quite a bit
We lived at Camelot for 2 years. I'll start with the good. Decently priced rent for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. Great location! The buildings are located within walking distance to downtown Schererville and is right next to Redar Park. You can literally walk right over to most of the festivals Schererville has to offer. Land Lady is amazing, all the employees take care of their tenants and are very nice. Great area, affordable, overall the greatest renting experience I've had thus far.
DO NOT RENT HERE, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT! I lived here for 2 years then Camelot Apartments purchased the building in the middle of my lease. They increased the price of rent without making any improvements. In fact, I had a terrible roach infestation for MONTHS that they did not fix. So I decided not to renew my lease again just to find out they are trying to steal my security deposit for made up expenses such as cleaning and repairs.
