Another disappointing experience with emergency maintenance. The unit above me has flooded my restroom with water pouring through the electrical vent and maintenance refused to investigate tonight. They said they won't do anything until morning. So much water the ceiling around the vent is cracking but nothing is done. They say they won't investigate because the ppl above don't have a ticket issued. I am so disgusted. I dont know if this is toilet water with feces or not. Don't move here! save your money and headaches. The truth is we dont trust the work team at this point from this place since not proper procedures have taken place since day 1 to begin with after a flooding. I have asked for reinspection after damages twice and still did it wrong... work was not well done up to code professionally. Flood restoration never came to our unit the day of the flooding incident; Using 2 towels, my own mop, and the water vacuum is not a professional flood restoration team. I moved here about a year ago. Nothing was really as it was promised and seemed. The reeking of weed, loud neighbors, police presence daily. Told you can’t hang at the pool, can’t have company over and hang out on the patio you pay for. When you move out you clean the place from top to bottom they still charge a cleaning fee. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. They pretend to be all about customer service but when it comes down to it, they are all about money. I'll include a few stories to explain how I know this to be true. The biggest example is when the office reached out to me because I had a Ring camera and someone wanted to use the footage in a court case. I wouldn't recommend living at Camden Panther Creek Apartments to anyone. I have lived here a 1.5 months and have consistent issues on a daily basis with weed and tobacco smoke coming inside my unit. I was informed by leasing staff that while it is a non-smoking community, smoke smells fall under "smells" that they are unable to control. Now, this makes zero sense to me because continued smoke coming in through your vents is a whole other level than food smells. Unless you are looking to live in apartment complex along with Hookers (underaged) and blow, cockroachs, everywhere, dog shit every where and maintence staff that lies and you have to put in 20 plus requests and managment that treats their tennants they are they are wardens in a prison. Over priced, contant fees , no secruity Amazon packages constantly be stolen , cars broken into IT hackers broken ACS. Then sure this your place. (5/21) Homeless person sleeping in dog park. (5/13) Multiple shots fired during break-in. "Out of all the apartment communities I have lived in, Camden Sedgebrook tops them all and I am thrilled to call this place my home! I love it here." That was the 4-star review I gave 7 years ago. It pains me to edit this review down to 1 star. Within the last 18 months, I have become so very disappointed in my quality of life here. The service has declined while rental prices increase. I have been living here at this Camden property for over a year, overall the staff have been pleasant and the property maintained for the most part but the quality of the apartments are lacking. The insulation is poor, you can feel the wind blow through the windows and sliding doors. You can hear the flaps on the vents bang constantly when it is windy, you can hear the pipes running in the walls and ceiling, the sliding doors being opened and closed above and below you.
