(5/21) Homeless person sleeping in dog park. (5/13) Multiple shots fired during break-in. It’s only a matter of time until more people are seriously hurt again due to management’s disregard for security. I have lived here for four years and have had an inordinate amount of issues. It is nearly impossible to get anyone in the leasing office on the phone. Calls are routed to their call center every time. Emails sent frequently have no reply. Maintenance team is fantastic, but Camden cuts corners, and they are insanely overworked. There are not nearly enough maintenace staff to handle a complex this size, but the guys have always done a fantastic job. Since I've lived here, a woman has been attacked at her front door by someone who does not live in the complex, dozens of cars have been vandalized or burgled and when the community pleads for more security, the response from the office is, "Call the police." Instead of hiring a security guard, Camden has painted the railings on the stairways and balconies, repaved the parking lot, powerwashed the sidewalks (twice), and replaced grass with artificial turf--all of which are merely aesthetic changes meant to draw new tenants.... read more
