Had an out patient appointment scheduled at 9am today. Signed into registration today at 8:45 am. Didn’t get called back for registration til 9:30 when I asked if I had been skipped. Didn’t finish registration til 9:45. The manager was the one taking care of me and said the issue was short staffing due to illness. After being 45 minutes late to my appointment they put a halter monitor on me in five minutes and I was done and out the door. Registration is not efficient.
My wife goes in with CHEST PAINS and extremely LOW heart rate. The nurse felt her chest, said since it's not tender to the touch that it's not her heart and said "we'll have to wait on the doctor to send you home."

the staff at CAMC Teays Valley were friendly, accommodating, and did everything possible to take care of my condition.
I stayed here this past week and I truly and whole heartedly cannot express how wonderful this place is. The staff is so friendly and the place is SO CLEAN. And dare I say the food was actually really good! I live in Charleston but will never go anywhere but here for emergencies!!!!!! 10/10 ❤️

Most disrespectful, rudest staff I have met. I came here for help, wasn’t even checked out. They tried to give me medication without even diagnosing me and sent me on my way. I refused the meds. That’s not why I went. I wanted to know what was wrong. This hospital is what is wrong with the drug epidemic in our state. They should be ashamed of themselves.
The staff was absolutely wonderful. I had no wait time from registration to getting into a private room. The clean smell of bleach was great! All of the staff was wonderful and tied their best to make me feel better. I will definitely come back!
