We were booked at the first appointment of the day and seen immediately. The appointment was fast and to the point which I appreciate. Dr Mantynen listened actively and the outcome was a referral to a specialist for the issue. I was nervous given some of the reviews here but my experience was vastly different.
I'm also stumped by all these negative reviews. I went here today for a tongue tie release for my 3 week old son. Diana did an incredible job examining his mouth and explaining everything to me about what she was seeing. I initially thought he had a lip tie, but after she showed me his tongue and explained why his lip wasn't flanging out properly, it all made so much sense. Amazing experience here! Receptionist is always kind and friendly, Dr.Mantynen is kind and knowledgeable and I never feel rushed, been here three times now with little one and so far my experience has been fantastic.
Really bad office receptionist. Doctor is great but the receptionist is just so bad at what she does. Nobody answers the phone. Nobody calls back when VM is left. I was on the phone for almost an hour trying to get someone to talk to instead of leaving a VM. I asked for a prescription for our son and the receptionist was so obnoxious and said that the doctor won't write one unless he sees our son. The appointment day came and we were told no need to bring our son for said prescription. Receptionist is so rude.
Zero stars, poor communication, if you want to know something you have to ask and he'll tell you. Before my oldest son was diagnosed with autism Dr Mantynen didn't think he was autistic (I fought with doctors for 9 years for the diagnosis) finally after seeing a specialist he was diagnosed with autism. Before my other child had passed away I asked Dr Mantynen to refer him to a specialist to look at his ear and tonsils as he kept getting reoccurring infections and his tonsils were enlarged, he would just continue to prescribe... read more
