Quaint dog friendly lodge close to town. 257 stairs down to town but worth every step.
The staff is very cordial and helpful. The grounds are extensive and beautiful! We stayed in a luxury suite with a pet in October 2019. Very quiet, and although the sign said “No Vacancy,” we saw very few people on the grounds. There is a small dog park on site. Enjoyed a dinner of prime rib and kids chicken strips outdoors near fireplace. (Avoid the kids Mac ‘n cheese!) pool area is also large with a big jacuzzi. Beautiful location and accommodations!

The garden and grounds around the lodge are beautiful. My husband have enjoyed returning each year for our Anniversary. The staff are polite and helpful and the restuarant has delicious food.
