I had an amazing experience with Camarillo Independent Auto Repair. My car overheated and the radiator was cracked. I had 2 mechanics look at my car and give estimates prior to Camarillo Independent. They both missed the root of the problem. CIAR made me feel like they truly cared about my well being and my car's health. I will not go to another shop again.
Arranging my appointment, dropping off and picking up my car, were all handled in a timely manner. The work was done to a high standard. Prices are fair. Brett and Maria run an excellent buisness. They treat their customers with friendly professionalism. I recommend Camarillo Independent Auto Repair, and will continue to use them in the future.
I have read the negative reviews and I'm baffled... I'm honestly sitting here wondering if we even went to the same place. Camarillo Independent Auto Repair was beyond helpful and provided a fair price for the work/repair my car needed. My car broke down and was in bad disrepair, the tow truck driver drove it to the repair shop while I hitched a ride to work with a family member. Went in for a smog check. Receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Sat in the waiting area and in less than 15 minutes my car was finished and the certificate was sent to the DMV.
Did just what we needed -- serviced the car and made it ready for our 6 week road trip.
