Christmas Eve my Mother was served half a frankfurt in half a white bun!. That was it, other than cold cup of terrible soup and then a bowl of tinned fruit. Really disgraceful. She ate none of it. The food is terrible from what I’ve seen-with a lack of fresh vegetables including greens. A male staff is offering to shower her, so she is refusing. How about taking notice of the quality of food and the need for a female to shower my Mother?
My Dad is a resident of Mirridong and although he would rather be at home he has developed a wonderful relationship with the staff that care for him daily. He is only 77 but paralysed due to a stroke. He is totally reliant on their care. Cannot say enough about this wonderful home.
Management are lazy and uncaring. I have also witnessed several staff speak to elderly residence with disdain. Meals are terrible.
As a very regular visitor I can only say what a lovely place. My dad is very happy which makes his family happy. Management and staff are very approachable and do a wonderful job not only caring for residents but also entertaining them. Dad is a fussy eater and staff do everything to accommodate him and offer him something he feels like. He loves the delicious sweets.
