I had a terrible experience with Cal-Tex Resistal car leather warranty. I bought a 7 yr policy and am in year 5 of the policy. I purchased it through BMW and had not used it before. When I called Cal-Tex to report the leather cracking the customer service team did everything possible to try and get me to say anything that would limit the warranty- she kept saying when did you first notice the cracking, and on and on so she could find any provision in the policy not to pay. Do not purchase this warranty!! It is a SCAM!!! I purchased this protection for $1249 and it is supposed to be a warranty on my vehicle for 7 years. However, I traded my BMW in a year later. I called to ask if the warranty carries over to the next owner or if I should be receiving a refund since, I no longer have the vehicle. I was advised all of their warranties are non-refundable. So, I purchased a warranty that is supposed to be good for 7 years, but if I decide to trade in my vehicle in then it is my lost?? Wow! I looke... read more
Infinity of South Atlanta added this appearance protection to my purchase of a Jeep on Feb 11 2022. They charged $ 1089. Rip off........ Not worth that!!!!! Rodney Ange
Their ResistAll warranty service is a scam. The contract literally states that they cover rip/tear/puncture damage less than 1" to interior leather seating but they refuse to honor their contract for a covered claim on a puncture/tear roughly 1/2". The company and it's products are frauds.
****** was great! She handled my claim in a timely manner, and I was very pleased with the results. I've never purchased fabric protection with a vehicle purchase before. I always wondered if it was worth it. I'm glad I took the leap. I would recommend cal-Tex to anyone.
