I feel I failed my father by choosing Calstro. I imagine that when oral or pump pain medications are an option, Calstro can provide comfort and dignity, but that did not happen with my father. I communicated the unique needs of my father and was told that they were out of the norm but I was assured by Calstro representatives that they could provide comfort and care for my father’s situation. Calstro Hospice is amazing! The staff and the nurses really took good care of my dad. They came to the board care that he was living since November and made him feel special, appreciated and cared for. For so long my dad had excruciating pain due to kidney cancer and was placed on comfort care. Calstro took care of everything for me!
