He saved my life. He is the best doctor in the area for treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. I have been going to him as my primary care doctor for over 20 years. He got me to reverse plaque buildup in my arteries. He talked to a surgeon when I needed my gall bladder out, and I ended up paying nothing(I did not have good insurance at the time could not have afforded the operation.) I can't say enough good things about him.
He is rude. His scale is not right and then he yells at you for gaining weight. He has no bedside manners. He makes you wait in the waiting room past your appointment so he can see his AA patients (which usually do not have an appointment). I would not recommend him for anyone. He really needs to check his ego.
Jerry is very knowledgeable, kind and considerate. He is has always been spot on with his diagnoses and treatment recommendations. When referrals are appropriate, he has always sent my wife and me to excellent specialists. Jerry is our primary physician and we are very comfortable knowing he always there to provide excellent care. We both are thankful for his expertise and compassionate care!
Dr. Callaway is one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. He treated me after my doctor got arrested for selling pain medication and I was in full blown detox. He determined that I was not an addict, but a chronic pain patients with 14 screws, 2 Harrington rods, and fusion cages. He treated me with respect that day and I will always appreciate that.
