What a huge disappointment. Food was awful. $36.00 dollars plus 18% gratuity added. We all sat there looking at each other in disbelief. People at both tables on each side of us were also complaining. Left there feeling robbed. Worse Easter brunch ever. When we left we all went out for Chinese food.
My husband and I have stayed at Callahan's Lodge annually for several years now, at least 7 for sure, maybe more. We stay in room 39 each year to celebrate our anniversary. We love the well kept lodge, the wonderful staff, and the most delicious food. My husband and I spent our anniversary here (3/16/2019). We were so excited. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was perfect! It was clean, spacious and decorated thoughtfully. The bed was perfect!! However, our dining experience was the worst I’ve ever had 🙁 we had 6:30pm reservations but didn’t get seated until 8:10. We sat at our table and order their prime rib special. Bought a weekend for in-laws so we could spend a nice evening here... multiple reassurances by waiter that food was coming then finally after 2hrs after sitting in the dining area and no food was really disappointing. Used to be a nice place to come relax.
