Great place to eat. Awesome food.
Called ahead to see if we needed to make a reservation. Was told we didn’t need one and that we could just show up between 5 and 6 pm. So, we did with our 2 yr old grandson and my 85 year old Dad in a wheel chair. We arrived to a restaurant that was empty except for two guest and they would not seat us at any of the empty tables due to “reservations.” The hostess could have cared less. So we went to our favorite restaurant, The Villa. They had availability. I was really looking forward to Calla

Can't think of a single negative for this great place for unique food. We shared three courses, each topping the previous one. Please don't come to restaurant calla. We don't want to wait on others to be served!

Last night the wife and I was looking for a new place to have dinner for out Anniversary. We fond Calla in Lake Charles the food and drinks was great, but I think it's more of a Friday night date night type of place and not some place you would go for your 10th anniversary.

Dinner Tuesday night was amazing. We had a large group and the wait staff was on point. The drinks, appetizers and entrees were great. I had the shrimp and grits. The sauce was delicious. I would definitely recommend that dish. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
