The service was excellent and the food was great, they were very helpful and accommodating to my friends food allergies.
A first impression is when you are "greeted" (ha) at the door!! Well, that didn't go so well...we were told it would be at least an hour wait...so we sat down on a sofa and my son said " I'd like a wine list for my mother", the afore mentioned rude girl said " oh, you want it by the glass? Most people ask for a wine list when they want it by the bottle"!!!! What? Every thing I've had on the menu is fantastic. The pork porterhouse was delicious as was the sweet potato salad and cornbread. Finally a sign that Lake Charles is catching up with the rest of the world.
I love this restaurant! So unique! Even the dishes I was questioning whether I would like or not...loved! The staff is always friendly and very helpful.
Wonderful food. Great atmosphere. Gotta try the Moscow Mule! Fabulous bartender. Will absolutely be back.
