I hired Jason, who generally does nice work and knows these cars very well and who previously worked on some other, older 911's for me over the years, to restore a 1971 Porsche 911T in December 2023. He was helpful in selecting a suitable rust free, So Cal sourced car for a complete refurbishment. Tear down was fast, he took it apart, sorted out a local bodyshop, referred me to an upholstery guy, I dealt with these vendors myself. I needed a very simple service. The owner is nice, however, as is typical in the 356 world, mechanics act like they are doing you favor by taking your money. Told I would get a call in a week or two, played a little phone tag, then gave up.
