My sister has been at UCLA med so I visited CPK on 2 occasions. First time I dined in at the bar. Quick service especially for a Saturday night. It was busy but it seemed manageable for the staff. Drinks were strong! 2nd time I got take out. Love that they have a takeout window so picking up my order was super easy with no wait. This place isn't particularly welcoming to international students. When I first entered the restaurant, no one greeted me; I had to stand there waiting for five minutes before anyone finally came over. The same thing happened when I went to pay the bill—I had to wait quite a while before a staff member approached me. I noticed that for every other customer leaving the restaurant, a staff would go over to open the door for them, yet I wasn't extended that same courtesy. Food was excellent
I am so amazed of how nice and courteous the staff and people here are!! The food is fantastic and wonderful as I was blown away far from my expectations of their food menu and freshness and high quality of their ingredients. Derek, the bartender was so kind to make sure that from the moment that I sat to the moment I was left I was completely happy with my food and my glass of white wine.
