First, the people that work here are fantastic -- we were late for a show next door, and they were very accommodating in getting us our food on time. The problem is, with the California political situation driving up costs especially labor costs, the prices here are way too high for what you get -- so you have very fancy prices without the fancy food -- we won't be going back for that reason.

We chose CPK on Sunday because we were attending a concert at a nearby theater. There were eight people in our party. We had reservations, but (to make a long story short), we weren’t seated at our reservation time. We were apprehensive about being late for our event. Fortunately, we explained the situation to our server (Tina) when she introduced herself and she took complete charge. The pizza is overwhelmingly underwhelming. The crust is mediocre. The toppings are what I would expect from a mid-level frozen pizza. There are so many better places to get pizza in Los Angeles these days, I’m not sure how a place like this stays in business.
