Very good food. I had the Beef Tongue tacos. If you like hot, get spicy, even their mild is too hot for me. But it was really very good.
Being attached to Vintage Winery in downtown Lodi and open late also, El Grullense is an imperative cousine to be tried. It can be enjoyed after many glasses of wine and is relatively inexpensive when compared to the quantities of food that is given. This Mexican Restaurant is so authentic is shears the meat from the rotisserie. Some of the best Asad Fries in California, none the less another reason to be stuck in Lodi.
Probably the most authentic mexican food I've had outside of mexico. Great food, great prices.
