I had gotten bumped from my old GP's due to lack of attendance and fortunately for me on my way home I stopped at Dr. Calhoun's office. Not only were they able to take me on, they were also able to fit me in within a couple of days. Of course he was fantastic and his staff was just as nice as they were professional.

I just want to post this information here since I looked for it and couldn’t find it before my visit. They do not accept new patient walk-ins. They only have a certain number of new patient appointments they will schedule per day. I got there as soon as they opened and those appointments were already filled. I am leaving a review of “recommend” since it is the only way I can leave a comment, but I didn’t actually see him. I was turned away and had to find another doctor. Caring and on the ball! Dr Calhoun is up to date with medication and new procedures!
We moved from Seattle back in 2005. I had a dr in Seattle but couldn't say I was 100% pleased with him. We moved into West Monroe and I am ecstatic with Dr. Calhoun and have been with him ever since.
Very personable and friendly, makes you feel at home wether you’re sick or just coming in for a check up
