Greystar has awful company practices. They do not care about their tenants, they only care about money. I lived in their apartments for 2 years. My rent went from $1250 to $1750. During this time every single neighbor I had around me moved out, some of which had lived their 6+ years. And then by some miracle, they lowered it back to $1550. After 12 days of reaching out to the leasing office. I finally got some what of a resolved issue. After being sent a legal form & took a credit hit I was given answers. I was incorrectly charged for my rent, paid what was stated on the ****, and took 12 days for assistant mgmt to resolve my rent price. I brought statement proof + receipts of the last 10 months payments and was told I was never charged for rental garages. **** BEWARE! Shortly after they purchased our apartment complex, the quality of amenities and services decreased tremendously! Management was absolutely incompetent, would jot return calls, would not take care of problems. Gym was dirty, machines weren't working and people were smoking in it illegal substances. After alerting management, nothing was done. Pools were dirty and green for about 2 years. I could go on and on.. 8:52 PM Vacuuming my house with a vacuum that is cordless and expensive to be considerate to keep the noise low. Whoever feels the need to bang a stick on my floor from below has serious anger management issues and is causing me constant stress that I am not allowed to clean my house and should Wisper in the penthouse. Their employees literally opened an envelope that I received in the mail, it had my name on it, and they even admitted to me that they opened it (and it happened to have a check wrote out to me in it). Pretty sure thats considered a felony. They didnt tamper with it (besides writing on the envelope) as far as I know, but its one small example of an infinite amount on why Greystar, particularly Platform in ********** ** is a massive fraud.
GreyStar is the greediest and most unreliable management company in the business. We have now had the unfortunate experience of having them buy out our previous complex, we hated it even more than the original owners, because of which we moved to an entirely new timezone to a non-Greystar complex, only to have this complex purchased and down-graded by Greystar as well. Complaint about our apartment complex. We've had issues with our complex and nothing has really been done. We've taken it into our own hands our own money to fix our apartment. From the start We've complained about our shower head not being fix, what looks like mold our shower and our window area. We've cleaned multiple times it still comes back. Easily the most unprofessional property management company Ive dealt with. Took over my luxury gated community in December, and immediately left tenants without a reliable, consistent on-site manager, just a bunch of useless temps. No way to communicate with management or get needs met. Also has consciously reduced the security of the complex, by keeping entrance gate open, without addressing this with tenants. And now, 6 months later, we finally have an on-site manager, but all he manages to do is ignore the needs and wants... read more
