Do NOT be fooled by the smiles and good cheer when being shown around. Once you sign the rental agreement, you've just signed a deal with the Devil. Greystar is horrible, with a national reputation as a bad landlord. They are disingenuous, outright dishonest. They get away with it because they know most tenants lack the resources, time, courage to fight their relentless chipping away of tenant rights. Are there satisfied Greystar tenants? We found mold in the bathroom they did a cheap deglaze and told us it wasnt mold we complained when the glaze job has started to peel and bought a do it yourself mold kit to prove it was mold and were told it was our fault for using a bathmat. They raised our lease more than the state maximum allowance and after threat of lawyer were told since we were such good tenets they reconsidered and only raise dot the maximum. From over 30-years in houses, I moved into ***********************, a Greystone property, after my divorce. I was planning to build on my Canyon Lake property. The experience at ****** was so enjoyable with excellent facilities and elite management, ***********************, I decided to stay. ****** was promoted and moved to another property.The replacement management team was a different story. For a rent of 2000+ a month you would expect for the basic necessities to be available. Tenant at property: Pennsylvanian Apartments #**** Prolonged diminished living standards and aggressive staff. Greystar, who oversees The Pennsylvanian Apartments Property management, is allowing staff at *********** to go unchecked.The entire Summer of 2022 (May to August) there was no air conditioning in the building. The building management staff put off required maintenance on the **** until the summer. Update Folks, on this property I still havent been able to get anything back from the management on this account, even though she asks me to call and email the office THEY do not respond back! The company says that they have sent a check however! 2 months is unacceptable they have my number and better business bureau has been contacted Be warned, I am not sure most people are aware when moving from another state means some stress! We live in a property owned by GreayStar now, we moved in when it was owned by Watermark and they were wonderful. Under new management (GreyStar) this property is dirty, it stinks and it has a management team that brushes off any complaints or requests. Do not move here, there were issues of our lease being lost and they asked for us to submit proof of the original lease or resign a new one at a much higher price. Left me with my thermostat at 48 degrees. tried troubleshooting, but through in the towel after trying for just 1 day. they told me my best option is to turn on my stove and oven and keep the door to the oven open. No accountability.

******* should be fired (she tried to use me as a punching bag) i loved ******** i lived at thirteen 20 apartments ******************* me ****s of dollars at move out she was refusing to cash rent magically when i moved back to ******** my check was cashed im honestly considering legal action as greystar refuses to give my deposit of almost $2000 ive paid them $400 after move out no more until my deposit is returned called **** at recievables and he didnt run my card according to my bank sick of these idiots wasting my time
