We purchased our son's wedding cake here,best cake ever!!! I can't say enough about how talented Mary Ellen is!! Worth the 3 hour drive each way!!!
We have been using Maryellen for cakes for 7 years now!! They are a hit at every family function!
Someone had recommended her for a smash cake for my sons first birthday and she exceeded any expectations I had! Not only did she do exactly what I wanted, but the cake tasted finaminal! So we used her again for my nephews cake and it was another work of Art. I will be going here for as long as they are in buisness.
The bakery I've been using for the last 4 years closed down, and I was in a bind 5 days before my son's birthday party. I found Cakes and Candies by Maryellen to be the highest rated bakery within a 25min drive, so it was the first (and only) place that I turned to. Amazing looking cake for my daughter's 8th birthday. It tasted fabulous. It was a last minute accommodation for a theme cake and she was so kind. This is where we will be getting all of our cakes for special occasions.

She is absolutely fabulous! My whole experience with Maryellen and her team was awesome. We went for a cake tasting and were hooked! We left that day with my wedding cake ordered as well as ordering cake pops, cupcakes and a cake for my bridal shower. Everyone from my shower and wedding kept raving about how awesome a job they had done and how great it tasted! I will forever recommend cakes and candies by Maryellen to all my family and friends.
