For my wedding in 2018, we got a cake, cupcakes and cake pops from Maryellen that people are still talking about how delicious they were! After moving to North Carolina we weren’t able to get our one year anniversary cake, but today she graciously made us a 2nd year anniversary cake that is just as amazing! If you are in the mood for a delicious cake or cupcake you should definitely try this bakery!
Maryellen was amazing to work with and helped so many local Girl Scouts have the end of year celebrations they deserved. Our girls worked so hard this year earning badges and selling cookies and Maryellen helped them celebrate all of their accomplishments. She was able to quickly put together tons of cookie decorating kits for our girls so they could celebrate virtually over Zoom with their friends while decorating cookies! I’ve gotten graduation cakes over the years for my graduates. My favorite lemon cake with the raspberry filling in the middle. Recently had a vanilla cake and also her mini cupcakes. She has the best variety of mini cupcake flavors with different icing choices.
We love Cakes and Candies by Maryellen!! We were looking for a sense of normalcy during thus crazy time and wanted to get some desserts for Easter. We were able to order some of our most favorite items from Maryellens, cupcakes and Bliss cookies! Plus a few extras like Chocolate Covered Grahams and Bunny Oreos! The pick up process was smooth even though it was pretty busy when we came.
