We are so happy we picked Cakes by Gina for our wedding cake!!!! The taste testing was delicious and we were able to flip through a book full of cake designs to figure out what we liked. The payment process was online and super convenient. Our wedding cake was simply Beautiful and was soooo good to eat. Our guests could tell we did not mess around when it came to dessert. So happy with my wedding cakes! Cakes by Gina did a beautiful simple bride cake and a Houston Rockets basketball team themed groom's cake. More importantly they tasted amazing. For the bridal cake I had 4 tiers - two were vanilla with strawberry filling and two were amaretto cake with raspberry filing. The groom's cake was butter beer (yes, like Harry Potter) and tasted like cream soda and butterscotch. My guests loved all three flavors! Gina's cakes are delicious and she is such a pleasure to work with. She did my daughter's wedding cake topper and a sheet cake that was added to a donut display. it all turned out beautifully. The lemon cake is heavenly. l highly recommend this business.
Our experience wasn’t perfect our cake came with smudged black lettering all over a white cloud. Along with the outlines melting our cake smash falling apart and our cupcakes sagging from the heat. The delivery guys were sweet but completely useless. I somewhat fixed the cloud on my own. I was not happy. But they did send out a team to fix the lettering and they did a great job.
