The actual cake was moist and delicious. The fondant icing was great along with the buttercream icing on my daughter's smash cake. They are so creative and will definitely run with the initial ideas you give them. I would absolutely highly recommend Cakebuds to anyone looking for a high quality cake both aesthetically and tastefully delicious. We live in Raleigh, NC and ordered cakebuds because no one in our area could compare. Love you guys and will absolutely be back next time.

I got a Disney Frozen themed cake today for my daughters fourth birthday which she and our whole family simply adored. It was wonderful, everything we hoped for. And this bakery is very accommodating. They made the cake eggless for us, no hassle at all. Definitely recommend.

I was the proud owner of the Dungeons and Dragons cake it was absolutly phenomenal there was a bit of miss communication but they were more than willing to do whatever it took to make it right. But in the end it didn't matter the cake was a hit and tasted as good as it looked can't wait to order another cake and see what magic they can make
Cakebuds never fails to impress!! I've been a fan of theirs since they opened. Great tasting cake which is an important element many creative bakers tent to forget. But Cakebuds gives you taste combined with art. That's what it is.....they just use cake for their medium. If you can imagine it, they will turn it into a cake. I went it with the ideas for my daughters birthday cake and gave him some guidelines and some freedom to create.....and somehow he plucked the image out of my head and made a cake.
