Hi, my name is Walter "Butch" Guchereau, I was born and raised on a small Cajun farm on the banks of the Bayou Teche, Breaux Bridge, La. and I know the culture and by working summers on dredge boats I earned college degrees in Zoology and Botany which enhanced what I had learned and continue to learn personally about south Louisiana swamps. We had a great tour. My 5-year old enjoyed it thoroughly. Our 2 year old tolerated it and even found moments that were interesting. The skeptical adults in the party walked away with thumbs up. I loved every bit of it. Our guide was knowledgeable and humorous. Highly recommend.
We saw so many animals. We came for the alligators, but enjoyed all the variety of birds.
Great local tour with reasonable prices for a family. Guild was knowledgeable about the area, plant life, wildlife and history of the area. Would recommend this tour to all.
Shawn was super funny during the tour. I learned a lot from this tour. Barbara was so helpful in changing my reservations. Will most definitely recommend, this tour.
