Being from North East Texas and having spent a lot of time in Louisiana, I can say with authority that I didn't experience anything remotely Cajun. The food was nothing like anything you would get at a real Cajun Restaurant. Adding insult to injury the seafood boil, peel and eat ship we ordered was over cooked and rubbery. French Fries were soggy and oily. Dee the Waitress was great though. She did her best with a crew that left her hanging.

The food is absolutely delicious. I live behind the place. I can walk up there in less than a minute and a half depending on if they have a cook or want to open up, they will cook breakfast and they open up at 9 o’clock. I’m not mad that they’re not open today at nine and they’ve changed it to 11 o’clock now my thing is I was just there four days ago at 9 am. They do not like answering the phones and I was being polite telling the owner. Hey this place has a curse on it. No restaurant makes it longer than a couple years here... read more

Everything we ordered was fresh, perfectly seasoned,such a wonderful break from the standard fried barefoot menu elsewhere on the island. New owners completely remodeled the place bright and clean. We'll be back.
