If you ever want a way cool place to eat while you are passing through the Hartselle AL area Cahoots is it. The decor is controlled chaos and the food is top notch! Cindy had a fried green tomato, bacon and pimento cheese sandwich on a ciabatta bun with pasta salad and fresh watermelon and i had the grilled sirloin salad with a bacon vinaigrette dressing. There was also some pina colada pound cake that was involved but cindy was doing work on it so i didnt have time take a pic if i wanted some!
First time to eat there. Good home cooked food. (I always thought they just served sandwiches!) Great vintage atmosphere with plenty of room. I will be back!
I ordered the soup and sandwich combo and asked for grilled cheese and tomato soup (the soup of the day). I was brought soup and chicken salad sandwich. When I asked to have the grilled cheese instead I was told “chicken salad is the sandwich on the soup and sandwich combo I’ll have to charge you for the grilled cheese in addition to the combo.” I had to pay for an unwanted sandwich and the sandwich I had originally ordered. I was never told chicken salad would be brought out until the sandwich was delivered.

Harley group ate with 14 people and all gave 5 stars on this place. Second time we have gone to this place. Will go again. We eat all over the srate.
