My family has tried multiple dentists in Stafford over the past 12 years and unfortunately had some pretty bad experiences. Finally we found Dr. Cahoon’s office and what a difference. Like night and day. Extremely professional and skilled staff. Wish we had found them sooner.
I'm a new patient with Dr. Cahoon. From the first call to my first appointment, they did a great job. Everything was smooth and appeared to be well run. For my cleaning appointment, their hygienist was out for a family emergency. Rather than reschedule, Dr. Cahoon did the cleaning himself. That told me everything I need to know about the ethic of the practice and "servants' heart" of Dr. Cahoon. I suspect that his team follows his excellent example. Highly recommended! Tim
Super convenient and actually kind of fun — which is saying something, because who enjoys the dentist? Dr. Cahoon is basically the dental world’s version of a stand-up comedian with dry humor. You might leave with a cleaner mouth and a few laughs. They know their stuff and don’t treat you like a punching bag (looking at you, past dentists who thought my mouth was a boxing ring). Dr Cahoon is (was?) awesome, but I have been trying repeatedly to make appointments for the last 2 years and nothing. No call backs to my messages, no responses to my online appointment requests, nothing. But they will send me email reminders to schedule a check up. What? Im TRYING too!!! So I’m now transferring elsewhere. There are so many stories/comments just like ours on the local community FB pages. I hope Dr Cahoon realizes his staff is costing him business because he really was great.
I like Dr. Cahoon and it is the most comfortable that I have ever been in a dentist chair. I have had difficulty with the office providing documentation of services provided. Also, it would be nice to know befoe a visit will be owed for a visit. Dr. Cahoon accepts Anthem as a provider. An appeal needed to be filed with Anthem, and the office refused to help in filing the appeal for reimbursement. Anthem even called the office twice themselves for information.
