Awesome cafe. Great coffee drinks and food. Staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of seating. Parking was easy too. Great spot to meet friends or family.
Had an amazing cup of hot chocolate made by Mary... she topped it off with whipping cream and also chocolate. It was delicious

I don't like everyone's coffee, but I really, really like this coffee.
Very good fat-free/sugar free caramel vanilla latte & blueberry scone & the atmosphere can't be beat. There's a cute electric fireplace too but happily isn't hot to the touch so it was safe for my 1 year old granddaughter to explore.
I lived many years in southern Louisiana and had many cups of authentic French Cafe Au Lai. I can honestly say that the Cafe Au Lai at Caffe Communitas is the real thing. The only difference, is instead of looking at the French Quarter, you can sit outside and relax with a perfect view of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. One advantage that Caffe Commintas has over Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans is the very warm and friendly service. Great place to relax with friends, or to take a book or laptop and study and read.
Best coffee in town. I am a sugar and cream girl (to say the least) and was AMAZED at the Ethiopian coffee at Caffe Communitas. It was so rich and delicious, it was the first cup of coffee I've ever had where I didn't need to put anything in it. Try it... not only will you be getting coffee that does cartwheels around the stuff from those green guys (at a fraction of the price), but you'll be supporting a business that lives and breathes to serve the needs of the local community!
