Here in the heart of Mulitmedia Gulch is a fun spot for hip and happening wannabes. It is a good choice for grabbing a croissant and cafe au lait for breakfast, a frittata for lunch, or an intense espresso during an afternoon break served by a counter staff that turns over more quickly than the stock market. The setting is strictly hi-tech minimalist with pale walls of uncertain color, metal furniture and a floor that cannot decide if it is a mosaic or a mural.

delicious for breakfast and lunch This place has really good croissants and espresso drinks. It's so nice to pick up some breakfast here and sit in the park. I used to do this a lot when I was unemployed! However, if you are unemployed, please note that this cafe closes early (I think at 3). If you are anything like me, that 's breakfast time.
Great lunch spot in South Park Cafe Centro makes wonderful sandwiches that you order from the the walk-up side door (or eat inside) and then can take over to the park for a nice lunch in the sun. I recommend the vegetarian with goat cheese and eggplant (although getting it hot is best). A go-to lunch spot for years by the locals and Internet company employees in the the surrounding area.
Super cool cafe Caffe Centro is a really great place. I think it might be one of my favorite little coffee shops in SF. I love that it's located in South Park, the cutest little neighborhood in SF. They offer great food along with coffees and teas. The employees are nice and friendly. Plus they always play great music!
Bright, airy cafe in the heart of SoMa's South Park. – In Short Reasonably priced breakfast and lunch fare lure SoMa denizens to this small but pleasant spot. In the morning, South Park workers line up for their java fix and eats such as hot oatmeal and Sicilian-style eggs (poached eggs on Italian filone). Lunch packs 'em in for tasty sandwiches, salads and desserts.
Delish caesar salad and "arnold palmers" If it's a sunny weekday, I strongly suggest you head over to Caffe Centro for some lunch (ceasar salad, bread salad, baguette sandwiches) and an icy Arnold Palmer (half iced tea - half lemonade). Order at the counter and then take your food outside to the benches at South Park or the little tables just outdoors. You'll think you have gone to Paris.
Caffe Centro has a 4.3 star rating with 405 reviews.
Caffe Centro is open now. It will close at 7:00 p.m.
