An exceptional array of seasonal, fresh and creative menu choices. Where special requests and menu inquiries are not only accepted, they are welcomed. A knowledgeable and dedicated staff that takes food seriously and understands the importance of sourcing and the art of blending flavors. Children are welcomed, invited and treated well. Ask the staff for “what’s good”. My personal favorites are always the steak (any steak) and the mussels, the gnocchi and the bread pudding. The vegetarian option is also always a great choice.
What I love about Cafe Thyme...the seasonal flavors! Like all the citrus that is currently in season and thus, blood orange panna cotta, or Meyer lemon risotto, tangerine sangria or crepes.... Mussels in season go into a to--die-for dish of Mussels Pernod - the sauce so decadent that you WILL be dipping that bread in again and again! Or the cioppino also brimming with mussels, fresh crab, snow crab claws, excellently cooked scallops and shrimp in a perfect red broth...
