Ordered the taco meal online to go. When we got home there were no rice and beans. There was just one very dry chicken taco with the runny tomato salsa “on the side” -meaning the aluminum foil was lifted up on the side with no separate container. The order was on time.
I love the food at Cafe Rio, especially the pork the make. At my last visit to the Billings location though, they had two people doing the work of four people, and I waited in line for over 20 minutes. Partly frustrating watching all the to-go orders slip in front of people waiting in line. I think the way to go would be to show up at the restaurant, call in a to-go order, and then basically get your meal before the 30 people waiting in line. No neat. Greasy shells. Wilted old lettuce.
I will start by saying we LOVE the food, always have. This time the atmosphere was DISGUSTING to say the least!!! When we got inside and up the the glass to order we first noticed how gross and caked on the food was on every single ladle! Food was all over the counter infront of them, to which the guy started to wipe off before taking our order.
