So apparently cafe rio stops cooking at 815pm when they actually close at 10pm Stopped by to get lunch for my graveyard shift and wanted a salad with grilled chicken, lady said we just gave the last of it to the guy in front of you. I was like okay so there’s no more she said no. They weren’t gonna cook anymore. I asked what time do you guys close? She said 10 PM. I said OK it’s only 815 that didn’t matter. Completely empty as I walked in and knew it wasn't a good sign at 5pm during peak hrs. This location never has anything prepared and when asking how long steak takes they say 30min 😵‍💫 3 protein items all out of stock with over 6 employees who all revert to saying they're understaffed. I normally don’t write reviews, but after my experience today I felt like I needed to. I ordered two burritos to go, and the entire interaction was incredibly uncomfortable. The man making my burrito — a very tall employee — kept whispering “pinche” under his breath while I was telling him what I wanted. You don’t have to speak Spanish to know that’s inappropriate and unprofessional.
