Luckily I was in the mood for a sweet pork quesadilla, because otherwise the service was not good and I nearly walked out after being ignored by the whole staff behind the counter, despite being the only customer in line. The way the person who finally served me just tossed my bag across the counter and the way I felt I was imposing on the play conversation between the cashier and a staff member leaving...unprofessional, even for food service.
I had a poor experience with my order today. I specifically requested double meat on my nachos, but I only found around five small pieces of meat. The dish itself was poorly constructed; there was an excessive amount of sour cream, and the guacamole was just a sloppy scoop in the center. The food counter was visibly messy and the staff seemed uncoordinated. It's clear there's a lack of proper organization and care here. I hadn't tried Cafe Rio before. I have been to this location 3x in the last couple of months. Love the food, and you get so much for what you pay for. Great tasting food, & nice staff.
2nd time eating at a Café Rio. 2 different ones. They both were gross. Food looks like it's been sitting since the day before. Never again.
