Thursday was supposed to be shrimp tacos day. Nope... not only they were out of shrimp but they substituted my order for something I didn't request without telling me. Like... He should be good with this substitute, really 🤬
Not my usual cafe rio I go to, but was in the area and decided to give this location a try. Unfortunately ordering here will be my first and last time. I came in on 4/7 around 4pm, and the server had decided to use his gloved hand instead of the two tongs that were in the lettuce bin to put the lettuce in my bowl. They also charged me for a salad when I ordered a tostada. Thankfully the call center helped me come away from this feeling satisfied, but I will not be visiting this location any longer.
This location is by far the worst in Vegas, it is so terrible that I was starting to question if it is a franchisee location to learn that Cafe Rio doesn’t franchise and are all company owned. The staff is completely careless, they obviously are there to collect a paycheck and nothing more. Hospitality is nonexistent & there is no urgency to replenish the proteins that they offer. Ordered food for my family from out of town. I told them how good it was and the food we were served was terrible. Overcooked chicken, completely fumbled the order. Never again.
