Arrived at 8 p.m. mind you closing is at 9 p.m. I ordered a salad in which I wanted steak. Too my surprise they only had 3 of 8 meats available and made it clear that they wouldn't be making any more as they had shut the grill down to cook the meat. Now I'm stuck with three choices in which I didn't favor any of them. I understand pre closing and not being wasteful but an hour before close and the choices of meat were limited to sweet pork, grilled chicken, and braised beef. I felt like we must’ve offended the employees here because the service was so bad and the food so cold and disgusting. I would stay away from this Cafe Rio at all costs. I used to really love Cafe Rio.

This location needs new management because employees obviously haven’t been trained properly. I ordered an order for takeout. When I arrived there were no customers in the store and employees just standing around. When I said I was here for pickup they seemed confused and then went to their printer and noticed the order. They began making my food, well one of the employees did, while the other did “busy work” around the store. It took almost 20 minutes. No apologies for being late, no drink offers. I tried to go here for the first time today and it will be the last time. There was not very many people in line, yet it was moving extremely slow, but I figured I'd hang out and maybe the food was worth it. After almost 15 minutes I finally got greeted and asked what I would like. I started ordering a bowl. Once I told him I wanted steak he said, and I quote, "oh, sorry, we're like out of that, and it will take like a half an hour to make more." I call BS!
