Me and my wife utterly love Denato's cooking. If you like Italian food you are in for a real treat. You will often seeing us go there days I a row. You want to guaranteed good dinner this is the place to go!
We ordered the lunch specials. When we tried to use our living social deal, we were told that its considered a coupon and we couldn't have the lunch deal. So they charged us full price for everything even though the lunch special was able smaller portion. We showed up at 1105a and the doors were locked. They open at 11am. My wife and I relocated to Clearwater nearly 3 years ago and we were in search of a really good pizza for some time now. After our most recent trip to Italy, my wife was spoiled by the pizzas we had while travelling there. Once we returned, all of the other "pizza" places we had visited lost all appeal. Horrible experience last night. The food is way over-priced. 3 out of 4 customers in the restaurant left unhappy. The waitress seemed to be on the edge of tears. She didn't seem to know what she was doing. The cook was brand new. I am so glad I had a coupon because if I had to pay full-price for what my family ate last night, I would have been a very disappointed patron. Not what I was expecting and we will not be going back.
